Skincare with nothing to hide.
Tallow, castor oil, beeswax, and an essential oil if you want one. That's the whole label.
Small batches, rendered and whipped in the Hudson Valley, packed in amber glass so it stays fresh.
No fillers, no fragrance oils, no preservatives, no water. If it isn't doing a job, it isn't in the jar.
This is what's in the jar: grass-fed beef tallow, rendered and strained until it's clean and white. Its makeup is unusually close to the oils your skin already produces, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting on top and softens dry skin without a long list of stabilizers. People used it for centuries before cheaper, shelf-stable synthetics replaced it. We think that was a step backward, so we went back.
No. Properly rendered tallow is clean and nearly scentless; a faint neutral note fades within a minute of applying. If you want a scent, the lavender and rosemary versions are lightly scented with organic essential oil. Unscented is exactly that.
Use less than you think. A pea-sized amount warmed between your fingertips covers your whole face; it absorbs in a few minutes and leaves skin soft, not shiny. Because tallow is so close to your skin's own oils, most people find it sits lighter than heavy plant butters.
Used daily on the face, a 2oz jar of Tallow Cream typically lasts two to three months. Keep the lid on and store it somewhere cool and out of direct sun; tallow softens in heat and firms up again when it cools, with no harm done. Use within a year of opening.
That's why we started. Our Unscented products are three ingredients with no fragrance, no preservatives, and no water, which is about as simple as skincare gets. We're a cosmetic, not a medicine, so we can't make medical claims; if you have a specific skin condition, check with your doctor, and as with anything new, try a small patch first.
